The problem with 'race', is that it all too often implies that we are *not* responsible for some aspects of who we are - that as individuals we can hide behind some safe walls to avoid making choices, and fence up others into faceless groups, to avoid seeing in their eyes that they are unique, special, individuals just like us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1846921797306345190.post-77694895561832253082008-09-26T17:04:00.000+08:002008-09-26T17:04:00.000+08:00What about the Penans and those that lived in the ...What about the Penans and those that lived in the forests? Whilst we cannot appreciate the world we lived in, the virgin forest, the clean rivers and those creatures that lived within, do you think we care about other fellow human-beings. Mankind will learn a bitter lesson for ignoring that we are one with nature and destroying our environment is a sure-fire way to man's extinction. Whatever harm we have done to planet earth, will be renewed in time as earth have existed for millions of years and will continue to exist with or without us. Yet the most beautiful living room will be that of the Penans and people like them, all made by God(nature) and is perfect in His and our eyes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
